Let’s vote! Part 2: Vote for your preferred finisher’s medal design

(Design A)
The overall silhouette is in the shape of "8," denoting that this will be the 8th Kyoto Marathon event.
The shape also resembles a woman in kimono, and the infinity symbol, describing the endless flow of Kyoto’s historic and beautiful atmosphere from the past through the present to the future.
This design also ubiquitously features ume blossoms, which will be out in their full glory around the time of the event.

Let’s vote! Part 2: Vote for your preferred finisher’s medal design

(Design B)
The design is inspired by "八," the Chinese character for "8," to indicate that this will be the 8th Kyoto Marathon event. According to Japanese tradition, the number eight and a fan are both considered to bring good luck because their shapes, expanding toward the ends, symbolize "development."
We have incorporated in the design our best wishes for the runners’ good fortune and future development of the marathon event.
